LEARN is delighted to announce that Hull University Student's Union have voted to support the statutory legal duty of care for students. Hull University's motto is 'Lampada Ferens'
which translates as 'carrying the light of learning', and when it comes to taking action to address learning from the past, Hull students are leading the way. We hope that more university student unions will follow suit and demand 'clarity' in respect of duty of care responsibilities to students, and 'parity' for students who should have the same legal rights as staff.
